T'Basil on St. Joseph Blvd. in Olreans : )

I really liked t'basil it was a pretty yummy. They had really nice rice noodles and chicken but i liked the dish i got better at Bien Pho  . But the food was all really good, the dish i got was pretty big and enough for me and my sister to have two servings each, i had a glass of water and my mom had some wine. The dish i had, had some vegetables like shreded carrot and fresh letuce it also had  some bean sprouts . I also tried some of my moms dish it looked pretty gross and it was green but it was sooo good but im not sure if it was as good as the dish i had .So all in all it was a pretty good restaurant : - ) : - )

Here's the recipe for the cookies

Cake Mix Cookies

Ingredients:
2 eggs
1 (18.25 ounce/510 gram) box of cake mix.
1/2 cup vegetable oil

Directions:
1. Mix together the cake mix, eggs and oil.
2. Make little balls with the dough (a heaping tablespoon, is about the right size)
3. Place them on a cookie sheet and flatten very sightly, sprinkles can be depressed in the tops very easily too.
4. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 4 t0 10 minutes.

Variations:
My favorite so far has been chocolate cake mix with some white chocolate chips in it.  White cake mix with chocolate chips is always loved.  Lemon cake mix with pink sprinkles, great for Easter.  The combinations are endless.

Suraj garlic naan bread

Bought at the Canadian Superstore for $2.99 (reg. 3.99) for a package of 10.

The naan bread is pretty good its better served hot then cold but at rangouli (indian restaurant) its way better i love it there. I didint taste the garlic though which is okay it didint really matter its also cools down spicy food if your having any .

The fresh naan bread at Rangoli is waaaaaaay better, but if you are doing Indian at home then I like this one better than President's Choice.

Ruby King Chinese Food Restaurant

Tee hee, ok they sound cute and like they should.  These are their honest and unedited views : )  Please bear in mind the spelling may be a little creative because they have been in french immersion since they were 5.

As a parent I'm sure it is not news to anyone that kids and an all you can eat buffet are a perfect match.  No waiting  to be served, no commitment to one dish and the opportunity to explore something they never have tried before.  There are usually plenty of other kids there so no need to feel like your kids are being too loud.  The whole meal is very relaxed.

Ruby King is very good as long as you don't show up towards the last hour of the buffet.  If you show up early the food is fresh and when it's busy the buffet is constantly being restocked.  My husband loves the won-ton soup and I love the Chop Suey and Singapore Rice Vermicelli (love anything with curry).  The pastries are always always stale, the jello is tasteless....save your calories.  We've always enjoyed ourselves there.

The infamous wishing fountain....make sure you have some pennies to share.  It has always looked like dirty greenish water but the kids love it.   Thanks for reading : )

Ruby King is a good restaurant .the first few times you go are the best but its still okay in other times, its a verry good family restaurant and they make really good food some of my favourite things are the skeyered shrimp there really good they have there own little section for that, they have chicken balls , wong tong soup they have  fries and onion rings for the more little kids and they also have clams whith a salad bar whith cucumber, pickles ,tamatoas, and a bunch of other stuff for the salads they also have really good deserts like different types of icecream almost every time you go they always have different types of jellow and little pastries whith like custard in them and stuff and they yusually have little almond cookies. they keep your water full all the time ,the waitreeses dont talk very much cause its not really like that type of restaurant but the restaurant is really cozy i find and i like that. at the end when the bill comes they have fortion cookies i like those especially, then when your leaving my mom always gives me my brother and my sister some pennies to throw into the wish fountain and then i go home having a verry good felling in my stomach.
